Nimes coffee table from Skeidar. The increadibly aromatic roses are from the garden, and loves it in the Finn Schjòll vase.

The Lupies are unfortunately not from our garden, but from a ditches in the neighbourhood where it grows plentifully...

The old table.

Inn with the NEW Coffee table, and OUT with the OLD..... Finally!

After approximately 4 years of not finding a coffee table that both really liked or that was not practical AND nice, or too low, or too expensive, we came across this one on Skeidar when we ordered a sofa....

We had not been around in the furniture stores looking for coffee table in a while, so I don't actually know what's the selection in other places for the moment...
The coffee table is called Nimes and is bought in Skeidar.

My husband is the type who likes to find things quickly, and be done with it. And now he got me to buy on impulse, again! We both really wanted to have a shelf under the table to store the lap tops and remote controls, oh well ..... One can obviously not meet all the criterias.....

We both fell for the light rustic style and the contrast of the slightly old-fashioned table legs. It also has some nice grooves in the table top, which hopefully is not so deep that it becomes too hard to clean .... Things have to be a bit practical too when one has children, and a husband...

In the meantime we have had a temporary table that we bought second hand. We both agreed that it was fair enough, since we did not bother to spend much money on a table that both didn't agree on....
